Methven is the base for my fishing guide operation. Methven is in the Canterbury region, located 1 hour's drive west of Christchurch International Airport, just off the scenic inland highway to the southern destinations.
The region has a rich agricultural heritage and provides visitors a number of activities including excellent Golf courses, Jet boating, Walks, Garden visits, 
Hot air ballooning, White water rafting, Skiing, Mountain biking, Hunting and Horse riding. Other attraction nearby include Christchurch, Akaroa, Arthur's Pass and Mt Cook.
My main area of operation extends from in and around the central base of Methven, north to include the Waimakariri River catchments, the Rakaia, Ashburton, Rangitata, and Opihi rivers
