My name is Steve Gerard. I've been involved in fishing for most of my life having been raised on the banks of the Rakaia River here in Mid Canterbury New Zealand.

I have guided from Methven for about 12 seasons, developing a very successful small business within that time, however I have now 'retired' for the time being to run my fly fishing shop.

Thank you to all of my many clients for the wonderful times we had out on the river, your support over the years has been tremendous

I can say that I have been there and done that! So I can use the knowledge gained to offer this service to help you find fishing guides from around the country in one convenient place.
